These are the ground rules for using Buvia, a personal finance app by Madina Accounting Inc. By creating an account you agree to them — so here they are, written to be readable rather than intimidating.
Using Buvia
Buvia is a personal finance tool. It helps you record spending, plan budgets and track savings goals. It's designed for personal, everyday use — not as professional accounting, tax or investment advice. The numbers and insights the app shows are based on the information you enter or import, so their accuracy depends on that data.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for the activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age in your country) to use Buvia.
Acceptable use
Don't use Buvia to break the law, to store information about other people without their permission, or to try to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Availability and changes
Buvia is currently free during early access. We may add, change or remove features as the product evolves, and we may introduce paid tiers in the future — any pricing would be clearly communicated before you're ever charged. We aim for constant availability, but we can't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
No warranty
Buvia is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Madina Accounting Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including financial decisions made based on what Buvia shows you.
Ending things
You can stop using Buvia and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may also close accounts that violate these terms. If we do, we'll tell you why where we reasonably can.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll notify you in the app before the new version takes effect. Continuing to use Buvia after that means you accept the updated terms.
